In the dream, I was engaged to a Tom Hanks lookalike guy. My old aluminum Mac Powerbook broke and I mentioned I’d pay to get it fixed. He called in at least 50 people to fix it, some of them drunk, and presented me with a bill for thousands of dollars to pay them before it was even fixed. I decided this guy and his community bailout were not for me and called off the engagement.

I work for an organization that has been working to bail itself out of financial trouble from the time of its founding. Last year at this time, the credit available to this consistently failing institution dried up. Like a small swarm of bees, people interested in taking over the institution arrived and began digging in every dark hole.
