I don’t normally promote my work in other venues on First 50 Words. However, an article I published elsewhere today is relevant to the readers here. The article is Self-Promote Your Book Using the Internet at BlogHer. I hope you’ll take a look.
Please leave a comment with your first 50 words on the topic “self-promote.”

Why am I bothering to do NaNoWriMo? So I write 50,000 words in a month, and I go on to produce a novel. I know that’s only the beginning. I know I’ll have to learn to self-promote. For someone like me, who revels in anonymity, that could be a big problem.
One can not help but respond to the Ericksonian command in the title so: One of the things you will love about my work is the delicious feeling that you want more when you click on the link taking all the time you need to explore all of those things which are so useful to you to discover: http://ruemeese.wordpress.com
Excellent but am I only one that thinks that the joy of writing is an end in itself? Yet no lonely garret for me as I publish each scribble thanks to the kindness of internet strangers. So is this an English thing about the game being more important then winning?
