“Wow, she’s beautiful.” Do you agree? Why? Surely is isn’t just good cheekbones and well-applied makeup. Maybe it’s the eyes. Maybe it’s the smile. What makes a beautiful woman beautiful?

“You’re a beautiful woman,” he said.
“You have me confused with someone else.”
His fingers touched my face, each wrinkle, each line, pausing to circle my mouth, thumb and two fingers tracing the curve of my nose….
“I repeat,” he said. “You’re beautiful.”
With his fingers still on my face I smiled, then pulled him to his feet. Arm in arm we walked, his white cane tapping each slow step.

As Jim turned around, he stared momentarily and then said, “You know Bob, you really do make a beautiful woman!”
I could only cringe as I struggled with trying to get my legs into the pantyhose. “I’ll tell you one damn thing my friend, “ I said, groaning with each tug and pull, “I’ll never volunteer for another one of these damn charity events. I’ll just give my wife a hundred bucks and let that be the end of it!”
I love that one, Alan!
Thanks Sylvia…
On meeting beautiful women
A beautiful woman draws like a flame,
so you watch wondering who she will burn.
But cool heads lose when they dream of the sun.
So what, you may say – a day in the sun
when you flutter and fluff around the flame
is worth that hint of bliss before the burn.
For a moment you hope…pray that the burn
when it comes heralds the dawn of the sun
shining on the love you feel like a flame.
But flames burn so let loose dreams of your sun.
