The oyster said to the crab one day, “Have you seen anyone else here in the bay?”
“Not for a long time,” the crab replied. “Everyone in my family is gone. I’m glad to find you. I haven’t had a chat in ages.”
“Me, too,” said the crab. “You know I heard that we have to wait for something called a politician for things to get better.”
“Really? I need to find a politician and have a chat. Are they good listeners?”

“Where are you from?” I could tell by his accent, by the rhythm and cadence of his words and phrases that he was ‘from away’.
“I comes from ‘round the bay’,” he said, “We is known as ‘bay boys’ back home.”
I searched my mind for a town called ‘Round the Bay’, but came up blank.
