You have to be taught to love and hate.
Love thy neighbor.
Love one another.
Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.
The love you get is equal to the love you give.
With liberty and justice for all.
Anything else is hate, actually.

“If I am your very favourite person in the world – why are you so crotchety with me? How can you be so angry with the rest of the world, and yet take it out on me? Don’t you love me?”
“It’s not love; its hate, actually,” he replied.

Hate, actually takes too much time…doesn’t it? It takes way too much planning and coniving. It’s never just a free-flowing thing…like love or joy or glee. It’s all about scheming and revenge and retaliation and spite. In the scheme of life I find it’s just not practical and doesn’t fit my schedule. Whatever my daily dose of life requires….tolerance, strength, patience, love, endurance, common sense, humor, will power…. apparently it isn’t hate….actually.
