It’s a new year, do you have new goals? Things I want aren’t about me in particular. I want jobs for my children. I can hardly make that my own goal. I want health insurance for my children. Again, how can that be a personal goal of mine? My goals relate to the political situation in the country, and I’m not sure how I want to make them personal goals of mine. Got any good ideas?

Personal goals
I will surround myself with people who encourage me.
Do things that bring me joy.
Rest more and remember that I can no longer lift 50 lb bags of bird seed.
Continue to surround myself with a circle of prayer. Pray about everything.
Remember the body is aging – but the spirit is ever youthful.
