A treat in the normally
Cold and dry high country.
A drink for the burgeoning
Bulbs and fattening forsythia buds.
Will their eager growth
Be stunted by the next freeze?

cold, damp and wind blowing.
A morning begins letting Miss Callie out
and with yoga
and breakfast.
A trip down the country road
to the local small town.
Grocery, bird see, gas in vehicle.
Can’t wait to arrive at cottate.
Lunch, writing, maybe a special
bird will be seen at the feeders.
Reading and evening meal
day comes to a close…..
