The wicked witch approached the door. She laid a hand on the knob and jerked the door open with a big, “Boo!” Cute little ones with excited eyes responded with a loud cry of “trick or treat.” (Well, except for that littlest one who looked about two and was clinging the the hand of his mama.) The wicked witch extended a blue bowl full of tiny chocolate bars and grinned at the eager children as they grabbed for the bowl and remembered to say, “thank you.” They trooped away en masse and the witch called out, “Happy Halloween,” as they disappeared into the night.

What color is a newborn ghost?
Baby boo!
My best friend is the kind of person you never complain to unless you’re truly in a bind. When I mentioned that I had the hiccups, she decided to try and scare them out of me. Five minutes ago she jumped out from my locker, screaming and covered in fake blood she’d mooched from the theater department.
I told her about my hiccups four days ago.
I cry
Boo hoo
For a world
Peek-a-booing
