The people behind the TV show Veronica Mars announced yesterday that they wanted to raise at least $2 million in a Kickstarter campaign so they could make a Veronica Mars movie. They raised that and more in less than 24 hours, and their campaign can continue to collect funding for 29 more days. The world has changed so much and sometimes in exciting ways. Now I want to see Kickstarter campaigns to make movies of Firefly, The L Word, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and My So Called Life.
