Mind Games

I play mind games with myself while driving the car. I play a Pandora vocal blues playlist on the radio and I try to see how quickly I can identify the singer. In my head I’m shouting out things like “Alberta Hunter, Billie Holiday, Dianne Reeves, Toni Price, Bonnie Raitt,” everywhere I drive. It makes me crazy when they play someone whose voice I don’t recognize and I have to dig out my phone at a stop light to look and see who it is. This is my secret mind game, so don’t tell anyone.
