Colorful

October is colorful in most places. Usually because of fall leaf displays of orange and yellow. Around the part of the country where I live we do get some nice yellows from the Aspens, but the balloons that hang around for a couple of weekends outshine any other source of color. Time to drag out of bed at 4 AM and go watch hundreds of hot air balloons being inflated and taking off.

Fall is one of the most colorful seasons of the year and definitely my favorite. The splendid colors of the leaves never cease to amaze me. It’s like watching an opera for the nth time and even though you’re familiar with the plot and the music, the different production makes you appreciate it in a totally distinct way each and every time. So it is with nature. I find wonder in the myriad of colors that invade my senses during this beautiful time of the year.
