A Case of You

The woman in the cubical next to mine is new. She keeps interrupting me with pointless questions. And staring at me. Like, looking deep into my eyes. I may have to talk to the boss about her.

Here she comes again. She has “A Case of You” playing on the speaker of her phone. Oh my god, now she’s singing! She’s on one knee singing to me!

  1. Person picked up the telephone to respond to an invitation for a third party investigation by the Doctor. Person wasn’t feeling up to much, on a very short fuse and feeling slightly tetchy. There was a background conversation between the Doctor and a third person. “Must dash my next case is on the line”. Person then proceeded to berate the Doctor in no uncertain terms, I am not your case, am your next appointment~~

    She couldn’t sleep that night. Her conversation with him had left her unsettled. She realized that she lived in agony wondering if she would see him. afraid she would but more afraid that she would never see him at all.

    She got up and sat at the computer with the thought of emailing him. Her fingers tapped rapidly on the keyboard. The first words glared at her from the screen—I have a bad case of you…
