  1. Oooh! This doesn’t count as my first 50. I just couldn’t resist commenting on ice cream flavors. My favorite doesn’t exist anymore either. It was Minted Chocolate Chocolate Chip at Swenson’s in Santa Cruz, California. Nothing like it. I’m a chocolate lover, the darker the better, and it’s a special treat when combined with certain other flavors, like mint or raspberry. A scoop of my favorite (they made scoops bigger back then, too, didn’t they?) was the perfect antidote to a bad day. Made everything delicious, starting with my taste buds.
