Little toot

You’ve gotta be pretty old to know this, but there was once a song with the lyric, “Don’t you ever give up, Little Toot.” If I recall correctly, it came from a cartoon made about the children’s book The Little Engine That Could. The story and the song were both about courage, determination, and overcoming obstacles. It was a favorite with me as a kid. I loved to sing the song, and my dad took to calling me Little Toot as a nickname. . . .

  1. I remember the song, and dearly loved it,I recall the first few lines: Little toot was just a tug just a happy harbor tub and he came from a line of tugboats bright and gay,and it seems that little toot simply didnt give a hoot, tho he tried to be good he never could behave, thats as far as I recall

  2. I would like to know all the words to Little Toot…it just popped back into my head one day and I can’t get the song out of my head.
