The Workshop

No time to post about the Natalie Goldberg workshop yet. We are busy doing writing practice, reading, slow walking, and sitting with our breath. I do have photos posted at Flickr from day one and day two.

  1. I have also done that workshop with Natalie and the pictures brought back so many memories and details. I am curious, though. How did you get the pics uploaded so quickly?

  2. Jackie, It’s wonderful and inspirational, this class. People came from everywhere. I upload the photos in the evening at my motel. Takes maybe 30 minutes to give them titles and tags and then upload them with the Flickr uploader.

  3. The workshop intimidates me. The hand tools and power driven devices that my father-in-law uses to craft wood and repair machines so skillfully are useless in my hands. It is this sense of powerlessness that gives me compassion for my students who struggle in the academic world, and provides me with the impetus to work toward change.
