Big Wind

A sudden violent wind blew through yesterday, bringing a few minutes of plopping, heavy rain behind it. My aging mind’s typical trick these days is to recall something from the ancient past rather than more recent events. The wind brought back a jazzy song from the 50s that I loved called “Big Wind from Winnetka.” The version I recall was really fast and furious–something to get your whole nervous system revved up. Here’s a really boring version by Bob Crosby, the only one I could find. I want to hear the version I remember. Do you know where it could be heard?
