Iris, daffodils, tulips, crocus: the bulbs are sending up green fingers into the freezing morning air. Soon they will decorate my yard with color and scent. You’d agree that the blue iris is the most beautiful among them. In spite of it’s beauty, it isn’t my favorite. I love the cheery yellow and white of the daffodils. Why do daffodils make me smile, my heart sing?
