Blood

Blood. Bluebeard’s secret stream of knowing,
Pouring from the gashed throats of women.
Blood. The salty red link with the sea from which
We came.
Blood on the fangs of the vampire,
Dripping like sex.
Life is a bloodbath.

  1. “Bloody hell!” She said as she looked at the examples written on the board about blood. “I think I picked the wrong day to drop into this class today.”
“Man, it’s just not my day…first having had to witness that shoot out over on 5th and now this!” she sighed.

  2. This pudding is good. No kidding. I made it fresh this morning. What did you use? Molasses and green food coloring. Wow! It’s not the usual way. That red stuff…I know. Trying to get away from au natural. Does no go good for the waistline.

  3. It is the link, our genetic tie, from the most unsavory relation to the most beloved relation. It covers and colors our birth into this world. This magical scarlet substance is pumped through our bodies each and every day enabling us to do everything and anything right up until the day it ceases to flow. All hail plasma, red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets; components of our blood!

  4. Ok, so let me be clear about something: As a vampire, blood is like a drug to me, and to all my kind. It provides us with pleasure like you can’t believe, but do without it, and the withdrawal effects are worse than heroin! Plus, we need it to live.

  5. There’s nothing like the sight of your own blood, your body’s ink, writing it’s own horror story all over your Egyptian cotten sheets.
