What Does It Mean

What does it mean
When you say, “Let’s have lunch?”
What does it mean
When there are no bees in the garden?
What does it mean
When my youngest turns 40?
What does it mean
When former pleasures are a slog?

  1. What does it mean when I wake up in the middle of the night just because and you wake up a few minutes later to find me? What does it mean that I do it sometimes just to have you come down the hall to find me? Hmm I wonder

What does it mean? I asked the doctor when I described my variable symptoms at my annual physical check-up. I have pains in my legs here, when I am lying prone in my bed at night. Surely I should be pain free when I am resting without any weight on my legs. The Doctor looked quizzical and made an appointment for an x-ray.

  3. Maryah heard the word “unsub” for the first time while watching a TV show. Unsub? What does it mean? it sounded so professional. She had an inkling that it referred to a suspect, but she couldn’t figure out exactly what the shortened word stood for. Interestingly enough, her answer came about a few days later while reading a novel. It’s a word used by FBI agents who refer to suspects as “unknown subject.” It was to be her new “Word of the Day.”

  4. What does it mean when you say you are not hungry and wolf down toasts seconds later. What does it mean when you say you are tired and sit up ,face-booking late into the night? What does it mean when you say you hate your little sister and are found later giggling at some private joke, shared quietly? What does it mean when you grasp the hand of a reclining me and stare soulfully into my eyes? My baby, how will I ever know what you want to say, when you mean exactly the opposite ……

  5. What Does It Mean to have a gut feeling about something. When we experience gut feelings, our sixth sense leads us to the world of perception. Perception is a frame of mind that speaks quietly, but it reveals great information. The gut feeling causes the right path to be taken.
