That Can’t Be Legal

Matt opened the portable table under a tree in the school yard. Dr. Tyler plopped a case full of vials onto the table. She started pulling on rubber gloves.

Mrs. Ortiz approached. “What are you doing?”

“We’re drug testing all the students,” Dr. Tyler answered.

“That can’t be legal,” Mrs. Ortiz said. She headed inside to fetch the principal.
