Just Go Along

“Just go along with everything,” she urged. “We’ll learn more if we don’t confront.”

Callie didn’t actually agree. She didn’t argue, but she didn’t agree.

  1. Resistance

Just go along, it’s all in fun,
    it doesn’t mean anything,
    he didn’t mean anything,
    it’s just a joke,
    where’s your sense of humor?
    You take things too seriously,
    it was all in fun,
    don’t be a spoilsport,
    come on, fit in,
    go with the flow,
    just go along.
    No.
    I will not.
    I cannot.
    I will resist.
    I must resist.
    I will never go along
when I know that going along,
    the path of least resistance,
is the path to loss, the path
to the ruin of what I know
    as freedom.
