The close captions that describe music make me laugh. They will say “perky music” or “epic music” or some other descriptive about the music. What I wonder is this: does the screenwriter put a note in the script that says merely “perky music” or some such?

  1. He was so cheerful all the time . Like being perpetually drunk . No life situation could get him down . One cold miserable morning , it started raining . Worsening the cold , whipping damp and moisture into the house with sudden gusts of rain laden wind . All were morose. There was school bus to be boarded. Offices attended to . Meals to be cooked .

All rains are accompanied with extended power failure . It was like 5 am , cold , blustery , dark, and now wet . He came out on the porch and looked at me . He was all sunshine and laughter . “Lovely weather , isn’t it ?” He shouted over the din of whiplashing wind .

I have never met a perkier person than him . He is my solace ,my personal cache of indefatigable optimism .
